Kat McMullen has loved telling stories, making pictures, and writing songs from the time that she was an enthusiastic toddler. She grew up mostly in Texas but has also lived in South America and Great Britain. She has travelled extensively and speaks several languages. She enjoys history, especially ancient history, gardening, and any kind of creation or restoration, whether sketching and needlework or tinkering with cuckoo clocks and classic muscle cars. 

These tastes and experiences, the wonders of the natural world, and a faith-centered life inspire her creative projects.
