Ceramics are a new and exciting venture for me as, for one month during summer 2025, I took an introductory ceramics class at Joy Pottery in Bryan-College Station. At the end of the class, I purchased a 25 pound sack of B Mix clay in the hopes that I might continue to hand sculpt on my own, since my current work schedule makes further classes almost impossible.

The Holy Family. Clay. Mary and Joseph figurine is 1 and 5/8th inches wide by 3 and 3/8 inches tall. Jesus figurine is 1 inch long and .5 inch wide. Manger is 1.5 inches long and 7/8 inch wide. September 2008.
My friend Emily wanted to give her mother a bottle decorated with flowers for Mother's Day but was not confident in her own painting. She supplied the bottle and paints, some images of the style that she wanted, and then baked the glass after I painted. Glass paint on glass bottle. 2021.
